Enrollment for Pasco's 1st Magnet School Opening Soon
The application period will run Dec. 1 through Jan. 15, 2015.
Pasco County elementary school students who want to be in the first class ever at the district’s first magnet school will get their chance to apply soon.
The district has announced the application period for the Sanders Memorial Elementary STEAM Magnet School opens Dec. 1 and runs through Jan. 15, 2015. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics, the focus of the new magnet.
The new school is being built on the site of the historic Sanders Elementary in Land O’ Lakes, 5126 School Road. It is anticipated construction will be complete for the start of the 2015-16 school year.
