The nine-day Chasco Fiesta offers a variety of family fun and entertainment -- including nightly concerts, a traditional Native American festival, and boat parade -- along the banks of the Pithlachascotee River.
This parade draws an estimated 80,000 spectators and features 140 units, including 40 professional floats and lots of krewes with beads. This year's theme is "Salute to Education." Prizes will be awarded to the floats for Best Use of Color, Best Special Effects, Most Entertaining, Most Outstanding, and Best Out-of-Town Entry.
