On Sunday, August 21st at 7:30 AM , the Salt Springs Alliance in conjunction with Thomas Doehleman of Osprey Bay Outdoors will be holding a Kayak Fishing seminar for all interested paddlers. Thomas Doehleman will be sharing information on outfitting kayaks to make them fishing friendly. Information about Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park and general paddling fishing topics will also be discussed. This will be about a one hour seminar followed by two hours access to fish Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park from your kayak. The seminar cost is $5.00. Kayaks can be reserved and rented from Osprey Bay Outdoors at 727-524-9670. Please note: The rental must be arranged in advance.
Proper attire and safety equipment is required - no flip flops please.
RESERVATIONS REQUIRED - Sign-in begins at 7:00 AM, Sunday morning, the seminar time will be 7:30 AM. Please bring a kayak or rent from a local dealer.
