- On Saturday 19 May 2012, our efforts will be focused on an inaugural program in Gulf Harbors, named aptly Touch-A-Boat. Flotilla 11-6 and the Gulf Harbors Yacht Club have teamed up to provide a day to celebrate recreational boating and boating safety to the residents and visitors to the always active Gulf Harbors area. There will be all make and manner of boats displayed from paddle and PWC to sail and Cabin Cruiser. A travelling safety exhibit will be available. Several instructional activities will take place. If this event is as successful as we believe it will be, it will become an annual NSBW event for our flotilla in the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
