Pasco EcoFest takes over 10 county and state parks for a weekend of outdoor exploration and adventure.
The adventure begins 6pm at this gala, which celebrates the opening of a nature-and-wildlife-themed art show featuring the works of more than 50 local artists. The exhibit will be open through Sunday.
Pasco County pioneer legend JB Starkey and second-place "Amazing Race" winner Ken Greene will provide opening remarks for the weekend's events.

In addition, folk singer Mike Jurgensen will perform. Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be available.
The $5 suggested donation will support Pasco EcoFest and its art partners, the West Pasco Art Guild and Progress Energy Art Gallery.
