Florida Senator, Egg Farmer To Donate 500,000 Eggs
Pasco County egg farmer and state Sen. Wilton Simpson is sharing the bounty of his harvest with residents in need.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County egg farmer and state Sen. Wilton Simpson is sharing the bounty of his harvest with residents in need.
On Friday, Simpson delivered 280,000 eggs to Metropolitan Ministries and Feeding Tampa Bay, the first of two egg deliveries totaling 500,000.
The donation will help feed families in need across 10 counties.

"What an honor to help provide resources for those in need during this difficult time. The real hero for our community is Metropolitan Ministries which provides so many services for our community,” Simpson said.
“Equally heroic is Cal-Maine Foods for their generous donation. We are all in this together, and I am thankful to be a part of this caring community," he said.
