The Free Word: Christmas Short Works Collection 2015

Librivox' Christmas Short Works Collection 2015 is now available for your listening enjoyment!

Would you like some ideas for Christmas gifts that won’t cost a penny? For the literature lover in your life try a free audiobook from Librivox. As I’ve written in the past, I am a reader for this awesome organization that brings classic and not-so-classic works to life. Whether your interest is literature, history, fairy tales or biographies of famous people, this site is for you!

We have just released our Christmas annual entitled Christmas Short Works Collection 2015. This year’s recording includes 33 works of poetry, literature and essays by such great writers as Robert Louis Stevenson and O. Henry. My particular contribution this project is a reading of Washington Irving’s “Christmas Day,” which is a tale of Christmas in England during the early 1800’s.

To enjoy eight hours of wonderful Christmas-themed recordings made by 19 contributors please follow this link - https://librivox.org/christmas-short-works-collection-2015/ The recording is free and can be downloaded or played streaming on your device. Enjoy!
