'Arrive in Style' Back-to-School Event Comes to Gulf Square

PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Back-to-school preparation is around the corner and Gulf View Square, Tampa Bay’s one-stop family shopping, dining and entertainment destination, is taking the lead to make sure that students are fully prepared with the latest fashions for the new school year ahead. From now through August 21, Gulf View Square will host “Arrive in Style,” its premier back-to-school shopping event series featuring style tips, fashion displays, a sweepstakes for a chance to win a shopping experience with celebrity stylist Lo VonRumpf and a special back-to-school event on Saturday, August 6.

A highlight of Gulf View Square’s “Arrive in Style” program is the “Arrive in Style” Sweepstakes open to guests of all WP Glimcher Malls, nationwide. The contest offers a chance to win a $2,500 shopping spree with personal recommendations by celebrity stylist to the stars Lo VonRumpf. For a chance to win, shoppers should complete an online entry form at shopgulfviewsquare.com/arriveinstyle from now through August 21.

Lo VonRumpf is best known for his stand-out looks on numerous high profile Disney channel and Nickelodeon teen stars plus recording artists and A-list actors. From on-screen to red carpets, his expertise in the industry also shines through the pages of the top fashion magazines. He continues to evolve with his L.A. based consulting company, LVR Style, where he thrives on consulting, styling, writing and lending his skills as a celebrity stylist and correspondent on the red carpet.

In addition, Gulf View Square shoppers will have access to Lo VonRumpf’s exclusive back-to-school fashion forecast with several style tips to help shop for back to school. These tips will be available at Gulf View Square and on the mall’s social media pages.

On Saturday, August 6, from 1 – 3 p.m., Gulf View Square will host its “Arrive in Style” Back-to-school event. Shoppers can enjoy free entertainment and activities including a bounce house, face painting, a balloon artist, goody bags, giveaways, a visit from GEM Princess Parties characters, a performance from KForce Dance, a kid's Zumba demonstration and more. Parents can also sign up their children for a free membership in Gulf View Square’s new kids program, The KidX Club.

The event will coincide with Florida’s Tax-free Weekend taking place August 5 – 7. Tax-free items will include clothing, footwear and bags that cost $60 or less and school supplies that cost $15 or less.
