Halloween Decorating Tips When Selling Your Home
Loving Halloween is no crime. I am an avid Halloween enthusiast and love to decorate our home for Halloween. Having your home on the sales market during Halloween, you may want to consider a few of these decorating tips.Decorate for the Season...not the Holiday. Use fall colors on your table in placemats and on your sofa with throw pillows.
Use more fall flowers and less blood and gore. A few pumpkins at the front door and a nice fall wreath will be warm and inviting for your potential buyers. You want your potential buyers to see your house...not your skeletons and ghouls. Homes that are cluttered or over decorated are harder to see through the decorations. Your buyers will leave your home and not remember the wall colors, the size of the rooms and sometimes a few great selling points. They will remember walking in and seeing a super scary scene.
Your buyers will also be looking at your motivation and time frame to sell and move. Often times if a home is decorated or overly cluttered your buyers will feel that you will not be able to move in time for them to move in. You can avoid this by keeping your Halloween decorating simple and since the most of your decorations are still boxed, you are that much ready for your move.
