With the hustle and bustle of the Holidays it seems like time goes into warp speed. I realized today that there are 16 days until Christmas. That’s a statement that would strike fear into many. But there is so much left to do! There is decorating, shopping, wrapping and baking. And then you get that feeling that you are forgetting something. You start going over a checklist – cards are sent, you picked up the secret Santa gift for work, bought the presents for the children’s teachers. And that’s when it hits you, what am I going to do with the kids for Winter Break? Luckily, the New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center has that problem covered for you.
In the spirit of Holiday play the New Port Richey Recreation & Aquatic Center is offering a Winter Camp for children ages 6 – 12. The camp runs on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8 am – 5 pm, December 23 through January 3. That’s 6 days that you do not have to listen to, “I’m bored.” Let us entertain your children so it’s one less thing you have to worry about. And for all of you Holiday shoppers out there constantly searching for a deal you will be happy to know that the camp is only $70. That fee includes a field trip to Lowry Park Zoo AND to Celebration Station. You can’t beat that!
So all that’s left for you to do is to register your darling cherubs. If you have any questions feel free to call (727) 841-4560 or you can always stop by at 6630 Van Buren Street in New Port Richey. We hope this makes your Holiday Season a little less stressful. That being said there is still little to no hope for that fruit cake that could double as a boat anchor. Although we do live in Florida, and sometimes a boat anchor is just what you need. Happy Holidays!
