A Holiday man is behind bars after being accused of contracting without a license and grand theft involving a victim 65 years or older.

HOLIDAY, FL — A Holiday man is behind bars after being accused of contracting without a license and grand theft involving a victim 65 years or older.
Pasco County Sheriff's deputies arrested Dwayne Dewalt, 54, Wednesday after they said he illegally contracted with a 68-year-old woman for some home construction work.
Deputies said Dewalt agreed to frame and install two windows, move an existing sliding glass door to an exterior wall, install and finish drywall, run electrical wiring to outlets and install a vent and air conditioning, all of which requires building permits and a licensed contractor.

The sheriff's office said he took a $1,500 down payment but never did any work.
Deputies said Dewalt was already on probation for the same offenses in Pinellas County.

He's being held on a $5,000 bond.
