Holiday Man Arrested In Connection With Molestation Of 9-Year-Old
A 33-year-old Holiday man has been charged with multiple counts of child molestation involving a 9-year-old girl.
HOLIDAY, FL -- A 33-year-old Holiday man has been charged with multiple counts of child molestation involving a 9-year-old girl.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Matthew Ray Petrey of Jackson Drive was arrested Thursday, Jan. 31. He's being held at the Land O' Lakes Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
Detectives launched an investigation after a 9-year-old girl told her father that Petrey had put his penis in her mouth and had tried to penetrate her.

In addition to Pasco County Sheriff's detectives, the girl was interviewed by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Child Protection Team. They all agreed that the girl's story supported the allegations against Petrey.
