Holiday Man Charged In Fatal Shooting
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 33-year-old Holiday man for the shooting death of Jonathan McCoy Wednesday.

HUDSON, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 33-year-old Holiday man for the shooting death of Jonathan McCoy Wednesday.
Deputies were called to McCoy's home at 3844 Holiday Lake Drive in Holiday for a shooting at 1:52 a.m. Aug. 7 and found McCoy with gunshot wounds to his chest and head. He was transported to the hospital where he died.
After obtaining statements from witnesses, deputies arrested Dan Coleman Jr. and charged him with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.

When questioned, Coleman told detectives that he was riding his bicycle when McCoy stabbed him and stole a necklace from him. His girlfriend confirmed his story.
