Holiday Man Intentionally Burned 5-Year-Old With Hot Fry: Sheriff

Pasco County Sheriff's deputies said a Holiday man intentionally burned a 5-year-old girl with a hot french fry.

HOLIDAY, FL — A Holiday man has been charged with aggravated child abuse after Pasco County Sheriff's deputies said he intentionally burned a 5-year-old girl with a hot french fry.

Eric Lahr, 37, of Kibler Lane told deputies that he burned the girl because she tried to take a fry without permission. Deputies said the burn is bad enough that it most likely will leave a permanent scar.

On the same day, Sept. 6, a woman living at the same address as Lahr was arrested after being accused of slapping a 7-year-old boy in the face, leaving bruises.
