Holiday Man Killed In Wrong-Way Crash On Denton Avenue

HOLIDAY, FL — A 45-year-old Holiday man died Tuesday after a wrong-way crash on Denton Avenue at Dane Lane.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 5:42 a.m., a man was driving a pickup truck towing a utility trailer, driving east in the westbound lanes of Denton Avenue, when he was struck by a tractor-trailer truck driven by a 60-year-old Brooksville man who attempted to steer left to avoid the crash.
