Hudson Bicyclist Struck By Driver Who Fled Scene

The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking tips on a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist in Hudson with serious injuries Saturday night.

HUDSON, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking tips on a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist in Hudson with serious injuries Saturday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 10:17 p.m. a 55-year-old man from Hudson riding a bicycle at Lake Patience Road and American Plaza Boulevard was struck by what troopers believe was a gray Nissan Altima, based on a broken passenger side mirror found at the scene.

The driver fled after striking the bicyclist.
