Hudson Man Accused Of Failing To Deliver Promised Trailers

A 47-year-old Hudson man has been arrested after being accused of contracting to build 20 steel utility trailers that he never delivered.

HUDSON, FL — A 47-year-old Hudson man has been arrested after being accused of contracting to build 20 steel utility trailers that he never delivered.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office Robert Owens of Pigeon Road, representing E&B Welding and Fabrication, accepted a down payment of $12,500 to build and deliver the utility trailers within in 90 days.

The sheriff's office said he cashed the check but never built the trailers.

He was charged with grand theft by fraud and transported to the Land O' Lakes Detention Center where his bond was set at $5,000.
