Hudson Man Accused Of Pointing Gun At Woman's Temple

A 38-year-old Hudson man has been arrested after being accused of putting a gun to a woman's temple and threatening to shoot her.

HUDSON, FL — A 38-year-old Hudson man has been arrested after being accused of putting a gun to a woman's temple and threatening to shoot her.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Matthew Mendrala of Marine Drive has been charged with aggravated assault and domestic battery.

Deputies said he and a woman got into an argument and he flicked a cigarette at her. He then held her down and pointed a gun at her temple. The victim was able to record a short video on her cellphone showing Mendrala pointing a gun to her head. Deputies said she also had a circular mark on her temple where the gun barrel was pressed.
