Hudson Man Accused Of Sending Sexually Explicit Texts To Child

​A 51-year-old Hudson man has been charged with seven counts of using a computer service to seduce a child.

HUDSON, FL -- A 51-year-old Hudson man has been charged with seven counts of using a computer service to seduce a child after Pasco County Sheriff's detectives say he sent sexually explicit text messages to a 14-year-old girl between Feb. 19 and March 10.

Brian Casey Alvarez of Greenery Street was arrested Tuesday, April 23, after an examination of the teen's cell phone showed he sent her multiple sexually suggestive messages.

The calls came to light during a related sexual battery investigation conducted by the sheriff's office.

Alvarez was already in custody at the Land O' Lakes Detention Center on child abuse charges when detectives charged him with seven counts of using a computer service to seduce a child and three counts of electronic transmission of materials harmful to a minor.
