A 38-year-old man was arrested Sunday after taking a container of salt off a shelf in Walmart and pouring it on his feet to ward off evil.

HUDSON, FL -- A 38-year-old man was arrested Sunday after employees and shoppers reported that he walked into the Bayonet Point Walmart on U.S. 19, took a container of salt off a shelf and poured the contents on his feet to "ward off evil spirits."
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office charged Dameon Cantrell, who is homeless, with trespassing after they located him laying beneath a tree in some woods behind Walmart. Cantrell explained that he needed the salt to keep evil spirits away.
This is the second time management at Walmart has complained about him trespassing. Cantrell was charged and taken to the Land O' Lakes Detention Center.
