Hudson Man Dies In Accident On Clayton Boulevard

HUDSON, FL -- A 64-year-old Hudson man was killed Friday in an accident on Clayton Boulevard.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 3:18 p.m. Karla Lynn Switzer, 77, of Port Richey was traveling north on Clayton Boulevard approaching the intersection of Hudson Avenue. Stephen Franklin Nix was traveling east on Hudson Avenue approaching the intersection of Clayton Boulevard.

Troopers said Switzer stopped at the intersection, then attempted a U-turn and struck Nix. Nix was transported to the hospital where he died.
