Hudson Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By 3 Cars

A 59-year-old Hudson man was killed ​just after midnight on Sunday when he walked into the road and was struck by three vehicles.

HUDSON, FL -- A 59-year-old Hudson man was killed just after midnight on Sunday when he walked into the road and was struck by three vehicles.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Jay Howard Kimmel was walking down State Road 52 near Choctaw Trail at 12:33 a.m. Feb. 10 when he stepped into the patch of a Kia Optima driven by Rachel Bradley, 22. of Hudson. He was subsequently struck by a Toyota Taris driven by Jayde Devries, 23, of Port Richey, and a Mercedes sedan driven by Nathaniel Johnston, 52, of Spring Hill.

Kimmel died at the scene.
