HUDSON, FL -- A 30-year-old Hudson woman has been arrested for domestic aggravated assault after deputies said she chased her boyfriend with a knife across six lanes of traffic on U.S. 19.

According to Pasco County Sheriff's deputies, on Tuesday, March 19 at 3:41 a.m., Stephanie Wykel and the father of her got into a verbal argument that escalated. He said he began to walk away when Wykel grabbed a medium-size knife from the kitchen, waived it at him at demanded to see his cellphone. When he refused, she chased him outside and across U.S. 19.

She was arrested and taken to the Land O' Lakes Detention Center.
