PORT RICHEY, FL — A 39-year-old Port Richey woman is facing charges after she was accused of burning her Jeep Wrangler and then filing a false police report and false insurance claim.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Jessie Lynn Weiner of Fireside Drive was arrested Thursday after detectives reviewed a neighbor's security video containing evidence that Weiner lied about what happened to her Jeep.

Weiner reported that the vehicle had been stolen from her home after deputies found it on fire Sept. 26.

Detectives became suspicious when a neighbor produced a surveillance video showing Thomas driving away in the Jeep and her husband following her. They later returned home together without the Jeep.

According to the neighbor, Weiner's husband attempted to convince the neighbor to delete the incriminating surveillance video.
