Have you ever wanted to draw or copy a favorite photograph or design? If the answer is yes -- or even no --you'll enjoy the fascinating process of image transfer onto copper, which enables you to make a variety of items: jewelry, a pendant, a plaque or wall hanging, or even a mobile -- perhaps something beautiful for your Valentine. You are limited only by your imagination. No experience is necessary for this workshop-- just a desire to expand your artistic and creative skills -- and to have fun.
Bring a 2" x 2" photo to transfer onto a patina copper sheet. Learn how to etch and engrave via different methods with jewelry artisan Debra Peisner. If you do not have a photo, one will be provided for you to work with. Class fee is $30 per person. All materials are provided. Bring along a friend for even more fun. Reserve your seat by Feb. 12 by calling the Gallery at 727-848-6500. Or contact Debra Peisner with any inquiries at 813-727-1848.
