Little Owl Learning Academy Brings New Jobs to One of Pasco County's Fastest-Growing Suburbs

The state-of-the-art, eco-friendly childcare facility is set to open in June and will bring nearly 20 jobs to Pasco County

TRINITY, Fla. (April 21, 2015) – Little Owl Learning Academy (LOLA) is now hiring for a number of positions in the developing suburb of Trinity, Fla. The state-of-the-art, eco-friendly childcare facility, located in Trinity’s Fox wood Commerce Park, is set to open in June and will bring nearly 20 jobs to one of Pasco County’s fastest-growing areas.

“This is an exciting time for the residents of Trinity, and we are excited to be a part of fulfilling the childcare needs in this developing community,” said Sindy Ortiz, director of LOLA.

Currently, LOLA is looking to fill positions for lead teachers for its infant through 4-year-old classes, assistant teachers, cooks, and staff for before- and after-school care. Education and experience requirements vary based on the position.

“We are really looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming our first class of students this summer,” said Ortiz. “But before we can do that, we will need the best and brightest teachers and staff to help us make a difference in the lives in Trinity’s youngest residents.”

Earlier this year, The Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties indicated the need for additional childcare facilities in the developing Trinity area. LOLA will address this need, providing childcare for children from 6 months to VPK, and before- and after-school programs for children ages 5-11.

The facility will be a unique addition to the growing area, with features to include an interior courtyard playground, state-of-the-art touchscreen learning centers, and high-end security with keyless entry to the front door and outdoor corridor and cameras in every classroom. Students will learn through hands-on activities like tending to the volunteer- and child-run organic garden.

In addition, the facility will serve healthy meals with minimally processed ingredients, prepared on-site by LOLA’s cook.

LOLA is currently under construction at 10911 Fox Wood Commerce Drive – at the intersection of Trinity Blvd. and Duck Slough Blvd. For more information on current job openings, visit www.LearningAcademyLOLA.com.
