M. P. Locke Students ‘Rock’ the FCATs
Mittye P. Locke Elementary took a musical approach to get students ready for this year's FCAT testing.
As FCAT 2.0 testing kicks off in Pasco Schools Monday, April 15, students throughout the county only need look to YouTube for a little inspiration.
On the Pasco Schools’ YouTube page is a video that was created by faculty and students at New Port Richey's Mittye P. Locke Elementary School to get spirits high in advance of the high-stakes test.
The school’s “FCAT Baby” video is a parody of the popular Carly Rae Jepsen song “Call Me Maybe.”

FCAT 2.0 reading, math and science testing continues through April 26, according to the district’s website.
