I was out watering the flowers yesterday and saw this guy happily eating nectar from the plumbagos. Hummingbird moths look like part hummingbird, part butterfly and part crawfish. It is amazing that their wings can keep thier huge bodies aloft. They are gorgeous creatures so count yourself lucky when you find one in your garden!
