Man Accused Of Fleeing Pasco Deputy, Hiding Heroin In Rectum
A 27-year-old man was arrested after the sheriff's office said he fled during a traffic stop and then hid a bag of heroin in his rectum.

HUDSON, FL — A 27-year-old Hernando Beach man has been arrested after the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said he fled during a traffic stop and then hid a bag of heroin in his rectum during a strip search at the county jail.
Timothy Dalton Davis has been charged with possession of heroin and methamphetamine, fleeing to elude law enforcement and driving with a suspended license.
According to the sheriff's office, a deputy pulled Davis over on U.S. 19 near Windsor Mill Road Saturday afternoon for failing to use a left turn signal, nearly causing a collision with another vehicle.

After the deputy activated his lights and sirens, Davis pulled his Kia into a parking lot at 14012 U.S. 19. But instead of stopping, the deputy said Davis drove around the building and back onto U.S. 19 where he drove the wrong way into traffic, crossed over a concrete median and ran off the road into a fence.
The deputy said Davis then left the car and fled into some nearby woods. The deputy ran after Davis, taking him into custody.

A search of the Kia yielded plastic bags, a used syringe and a spoon with methamphetamine and heroin residue on them, along with a digital scale.
But the biggest discovery came when Davis was booked into the Land O' Lakes Detention Center. During a strip search, the deputy and the booking staff saw Davis remove an item from his under his testicles and place it in his rectum.
Davis was taken to Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center where medical staff retrieved a plastic bag containing heroin.
In addition to the drug and fleeing charges, the sheriff's office identified Davis as the man who entered two Pasco County Home Depot stores four different times in June, stealing power drills, wrenches, hammers, saws and batteries valued at $8,635, which he later sold at two pawn shops in Pasco and Hernando counties.
There was also a warrant for his arrest out of Hernando County for grand theft, criminal mischief and trespassing.
