Update: Couple Not Connected to Holiday Homicide

The pair spoke with detectives and are not suspects in the shooting death.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has spoken with the New Port Richey couple it wanted to question in the recent shooting death of Livingston Hoyte, 34.

Terry and Brandy Hood spoke with detectives about the case last week and are “at this time not suspects,” sheriff’s office spokeswoman Melanie Snow said.

The crime in question was discovered when deputies were called out to 5639 Cheyenne Drive on March 9 in reference to a shooting victim that was found lying outside the home. When they arrived on the scene, they found Hoyte’s body.
