The City of New Port Richey has announced that a stretch of Marine Parkway will close down for road repairs starting Tuesday, Dec. 8.The work is concentrated in the area of Camelia Drive to about 200 feet of Hemlock Drive. During the closing, that section of road will be off limits to all vehicle traffic, the city said.Detours will be set up around the site and motorists are warned to anticipate some delays. It will be best to avoid the area, if possible, the city said.Work is expected to be complete by sometime on Friday.Image via Shutterstock
