Morgan Auto Group Buys Sun Toyota

The deal closed Tuesday afternoon, putting the Holiday business under new ownership.

HOLIDAY, FL — Sun Toyota & Scion officially has new owners.

The Morgan Auto Group announced its acquisition of the 3001 U.S. 19 dealership from Jeff Cadwell and Dwane Johansen late Tuesday afternoon. Customers who shop Sun will find the name will remain the same, but a few changes will be evident at the dealership.

John Marazzi has been named managing partner and will oversee operations in Holiday and at Morgan Auto Group’s Brandon Honda. Marazzi has worked in the Florida automobile industry for nearly 30 years.

“I’ve known Jeff Cadwell for years, initially from our joint efforts in our community hospital system,” said Larry Morgan, CEO of Morgan Auto Group. “Jeff is a first-class gentleman who values his customers and employees alike, just as we do. Morgan Auto Group offers customers a variety of loyalty programs and prides itself on customer engagement and delivering service department efficiency. The company plans to expand Sun Toyota’s in-house café operation for customer convenience and comfort, as well.

Morgan Auto Group owns a number of dealerships in Florida and beyond, including Ford of Port Richey, Brandon Honda, BMW of Sarasota, Toyota of Tampa Bay and Kia of Columbia in Missouri.
