Motorcyclist Dies In Crash With 83-Year-Old Driver On U.S. 19

HUDSON, FL — A 31-year-old Port Richey motorcyclist has died following a crash on U.S. 19 and Houston Avenue Sunday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 10:10 a.m., Nicholas Joseph Bonaimo, 83, of Hudson was driving a Buick LaCrosse north on U.S. 19 in the turn lane at the intersection of Houston Avenue.

Seth Monroe Majors was riding his Yamaha motorcycle south on U.S. 19 approaching the intersection when Bonaimo turned into the path of the motorcycle, according to troopers.

Majors was ejected from the motorcycle. He was taken to Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point where he died.

Charges against Bonaimo are pending.
