NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A 38-year-old motorcyclist has died following at crash Thursday at Moon Lake Road north of Knotty Pine Drive.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 10:19 p.m., Daniel Wesley Morgan of New Port Richey was riding his Suzuki motorcycle north on Moon Lake Road and Melissa Swearingen, 36, of New Port Richey was driving a Mercury Montego south on Moon Lake Road when the two vehicles collided head on.

Morgan was pronounced dead at the scene.
