New Port Richey DUI Driver Arrested After U.S. 19 Crash, FL Troopers Say
A 29-year-old New Port Richey woman accused of driving under the influence was hurt and jailed after a crash on U.S. 19, FL troopers said.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A New Port Richey woman accused of driving under the influence was arrested Sunday morning after a crash on U.S. 19, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
Hannah Mackay, 29, lost control of the Mazda CX30 she was driving at the Sunray Drive intersection, as she was heading north on U.S. 19 just before 9:30 a.m.
The SUV continued into the shoulder and a ditch, and then across the sidewalk before finally hitting guide wires supporting a utility pole, troopers said.

Mackay suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
She was charged with DUI, drug possession and driving with a suspended license, FHP said. She was booked into Pasco County Jail.
