New Port Richey Man Accused Of Beating Associate With Golf Club

Deputies said the attack was over money the victim owed.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- A New Port Richey man is facing aggravated assault charges after Pasco County Sheriff's deputies said he attacked another man with a golf club.

Josthier Aponte-Mondesi, 35, of Mitchell Ranch Boulevard was arrested Friday, Jan. 18, after an acquaintance of Mondesi's said he came to his home on 13th Avenue in New Port Richey and began striking him in the face with a golf club, causing multiple lacerations.

Deputies said the attack was over money the victim owed Mondesi.
