New Port Richey Man Accused Of Participating In Home Invasion
A 22-year-old man has been arrested after sheriff's deputies said he broke into a home in New Port Richey and held the resident at gunpoint.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A 22-year-old man has been arrested after sheriff's deputies said he broke into a home in New Port Richey in October, held the resident at gunpoint and robbed him.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, on Oct. 22 at 3:30 p.m., Verdall Pettis of Maclura Drive and three other robbers broke into a home through a sliding-glass door where they ordered the resident down on the ground at gunpoint.
They then stole three Miami Cuban gold-link bracelets and a necklace from the resident, valued at $12,000 to $14,000. They also took $800 cash from the victim and ordered him to remove his clothes before fleeing in a dark Chevrolet.

Deputies said they were able to identify Pettis on surveillance video footage, however, the three other robbers remain at large.
