New Port Richey Man Accused Of Sexually Battering 6-Year-Old

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- A 25-year-old New Port Richey man has been apprehended after attempting to flee the state to avoid arrest for sexual battery, according to New Port Richey Police.

Terrelle Cole Jr. was placed under arrest March 24 for sexual battery of a victim under the age of 12.

Cole is accused of sexually battering a 6-year-old girl. According to New Port Richey Police, a family member walked in while Cole was abusing the girl. Cole fled the scene and a statewide alert was issued.

He was located by Pasco County Sheriff's deputies driving near the area of the Suncoast Parkway and State Road 52.
