New Port Richey Man Accused Of Throwing Beer Cans At Bicyclist

​A 43-year-old New Port Richey man was arrested after deputies said he chased and threw empty beer cans at a bicyclist.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A 43-year-old New Port Richey man was charged with assault and disorderly intoxication Sunday after Pasco County Sheriff's deputies said he chased a bicyclist and threw empty beer cans at him.

A deputy was called to a disturbance on Lake Drive and saw Joseph Peeters, 43, chase after a bicyclist and throw beer cans at him.

He was arrested and his bond was set at $500.
