New Port Richey Police Seek Man Who Robbed Elderly Resident

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- New Port Richey police are searching for a man who robbed an elderly woman using a walker outside of a bank earlier this month.

The incident occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank on U.S. 19 around 1 p.m. on June 12.

Surveillance images show the robber approach the woman, who is using a walker to get around, then run in the opposite direction after taking her money.

The robber is described as white, in his mid 30s, between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a blue tank top, black shorts and a black and white baseball-style hat when the robbery occurred.
