New Port Richey Police Make Arrest In Armed Robbery Of Pharmacy
Police have arrested a man accused of robbing the Mass Pharmacy, stealing dozens of narcotics bottles.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL β New Port Richey police have arrested a 50-old-man accused of taking an employee hostage at gunpoint at the Mass Pharmacy and forcing the employee to open a safe where medications are stored.
Around 11 a.m. Tuesday, police say Edmund Pendleton entered the pharmacy in East Richey Square, 6518 Massachusetts Ave., brandished a gun and demanded narcotics.
When the employee opened the safe, Pendleton removed dozens of bottled of narcotics.
