New Port Richey Teen Accused Of Shooting 3 People With Pellet Gun

Pasco Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a 17-year-old student Sunday, Sept. 2, for allegedly firing a pellet gun at 3 people.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- Pasco Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a J.W. Mitchell High School 17-year-old student Sunday, Sept. 2, for allegedly firing a pellet gun, striking several people in separate incidents.

The New Port Richey Police also have several cases involving the same teen.

He’s been charged with three counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon for three separate incidents. He reportedly used a gas-powered pistol that fired BB pellets.

One victim was struck in the lower rib cage; another was struck in the left forearm; and a third was struck in the lower right abdomen from a moving vehicle. He also reportedly fired at parked vehicles.
