New Port Richey Woman Accused of Burglarizing Home, Taking Bath
A 28-year-old New Port Richey woman is accused of breaking into a home, rummaging through belongings and then taking a bath.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – A 28-year-old New Port Richey woman is accused of breaking into a home, rummaging through the homeowner’s belongings and then taking a bath.
Ashley Margaret Montero of 6550 Main St. is accused of breaking a rear window and entering the home at 8549 Pilgrim Court, New Port Richey, Monday, Feb. 5, around 9 p.m.
Once inside, Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies say Montero reportedly rifled through the homeowner’s papers, including his passport, tossed his clothes on the front lawn and then took a bath fully clothed.

When deputies arrived, they found Montero wrapped in a bath towel.
The homeowner said he does not know Montero. A neighbor said Montero and her father lived at that address years ago.

Montero has been charged with burglary of a residence.
