TMZ reported that the man is her husband.
The fight began when the victim, who was trying to sleep, complained about the volume of the music Schneck was playing, reports said.
"Jane was playing the music too loud on the television and the other party wanted to go to sleep, causing the dispute, which escalated to physical,” Denise Moloney, a public information officer for the sheriff’s office, told USA Today.
As the victim recorded Schneck during their argument, she grabbed his wrist and arms, reports said. The video was shown to deputies when they were called to the home.
Both had been drinking at the time, reports said.
Schneck’s son, Aaron Carter, died Nov. 5, drowning in the bathtub of his California home from the effects of Xanax combined with difluoroethane from a spray can, Patch previously reported.
