No Injuries Reported in Pasco School Bus Crash

A Spring Hill motorist was ticketed for careless driving after the Aug. 27 accident on Regency Park Boulevard at Ridge Road involving 44 kids ages 10 to 14.

No one was injured in an early morning crash involving a bus bound for Chasco Middle School.

That’s the word from the Florida Highway Patrol’s Sgt. Steve Gaskins following the 8:30 a.m. Aug. 27 accident on Regency Park Boulevard.

In an email to media, Gaskins said a 1996 Mercury driven by Trinity Lee Hancock, 36, of Spring Hill was heading southbound in the left turn lane at Ridge Road when her car rear-ended the bus carrying 44 students.

The bus, which was stopped at a solid red light, was driven by Paul Forrise, 53, of New Port Richey, Gaskins said. 

Hancock received a ticket for careless driving.
