One Community Now Stand Down

A 3 day event designed to help our community's Homeless and At-Risk Veterans transition back into civilian life.

One Community Now Stand Down - October 2-4, 2015

This three day event is held at Veterans Memorial Park in Hudson and is designed to be a one stop shop of resources for our community’s homeless and at-risk veteran population. This is a collaborative effort bringing together resources for education, employment, housing, medical & dental services, mental health and alternative therapies for PTSD, physical and spiritual help along with addiction recovery.

We are currently seeking sponsors to help us cover the costs of the Stand Down. We need to raise over $65,000 to put this event on for the expected 500 Veterans that will be attending. Last year we had over 300 Veterans attend the event and 59 of those Veterans are now living in homes and holding down jobs. These are men and women who joined the Military because they believe in freedom and standing up for our Country. They went to battle for us, now it is our turn to go to battle for them to help them make the transition back.
