Pasco County Ambulance Crashes Into Barrier Wall On I-275

The Florida Highway Patrol said the ambulance was transporting two patients when the crash happened.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A Pasco County ambulance transporting two people collided with a barrier wall on Interstate 275 after hydroplaning on wet pavement, authorities said.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the ambulance was traveling south on I-275 shortly before 4:45 p.m. Sunday when the crash occurred. After hydroplaning, police said the ambulance rotated toward the center median before crashing into a concrete barrier wall.

No injuries were reported, police said.

According to authorities, the two patients were transferred to another ambulance before they were taken to a nearby hospital.
