Pasco County Election 2014 Results: Moore Takes Lead over Remsberg

The Republican is the likely winner in the race to fill Pat Mulieri's seat.

With 108 of 111 precincts reporting in, Republican Mike Moore has the lead in the race to fill Pat Mulieri’s seat on the Pasco County Commission.

Mulieri, a longtime Republican commissioner and college professor, represented Central Pasco County for years.

While results are unofficial until certified, Moore had a healthy lead over Remsberg, according to the Pasco County Supervisor of Election’s website. With 88,181 votes, or 58.89 percent, Moore led Remsberg’s 41.11 percent, or 61,569 votes, as of 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

  • Republican Chris Gregg – 45.62 percent, 21,545 votes
  • Democrat Amanda Murphy – 54.38 percent, 25,687 votes

State Representative District 38

With 42 of 43 precincts reporting in

  • Republican Danny Burgess – 60.08 percent, 29,883 votes
  • Democrat Beverly Ledbetter – 39.92 percent, 19,853 votes
