Pasco County's String Of Food-Throwing Arrests Continues

Pasco County's notorious spate of food fights continued this week when a man was accused of throwing salad dressing at his sister.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Pasco County's notorious spate of food fights continued this week when a 56-year-old man was arrested after being accused of throwing a bottle of salad dressing at his sister.

Pasco County Sheriff's deputies said Michael J. Mollicone and his sister, who live together on Cochine Lane, got into an argument. During the fights, the sister said Mollicone threw a bottle of salad dressing at her. Then, while she was in the bathroom washing the dressing off, she said he came in and put both hands around her neck.

Deputies found an empty bottle of salad dressing on the floor and spilled contents on the couch.

Mollicone admitted to getting into an argument with his sister but denied battering her. He was charged with domestic battery Wednesday.

Mollicone's arrest comes on the heels of the arrest of a 19-year-old Wesley Chapel High School student accused of pouring a bowl of soup on his mother's head last month.

According to deputies, Rafael Ferrer of Wesley Chapel got into a fight with his mother over him not helping around the house. To prove her point, his mother dumped the contents of his trash can onto his bed. Ferrer responded by dumping a bowl of soup over her head. He was charged with domestic battery.
