Pasco Man Accused Of Choking Wife And Dog Into Unconsciousness
A 26-year-old Spring Hill man was arrested after being accused of choking his wife into unconsciousness and then choking the family dog.

SPRING HILL, FL -- A 26-year-old Spring Hill man was arrested after being accused of choking his wife into unconsciousness and then choking the family dog.
At 11:21 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, Pasco County Sheriff's deputies were called to the Beck Lane home of Nathaniel Christopher Reed.
According to deputies, Reed had gotten into an argument with his wife over infidelity. The couple have two children.

Two witnesses to the argument said Reed then lunged toward his wife and began choking her. She told deputies she was unable to breathe and briefly lost consciousness. She then grabbed her cell phone to call 911 but was unable to complete the call because he still had a hold on her throat.
Witnesses said Reed then punched the family dog and began choking it, causing the dog to become unconscious.

Pasco deputies said the wife had a bloody nose, a swollen wrist and red marks around her neck.
Reed was charged with domestic battery by strangulation, tampering with a witness and felony cruelty to animals. Bond was set at $10,000.
